Martha Kyme

Colonie- Martha Kyme, 85 was escorted to her maker by her many angels that she loved on April 22, 2016. She was born in Troy, NY, to the late Sergio DeGenero and Rose LaGrosta.
Martha attended St. Anthony School and Catholic Central High. She was employed by Cluett Peabody and the New York State Department of Labor. Upon retiring in 1991, Martha loved taking trips to Las Vegas and Saratoga, and especially enjoyed dining out. She also loved to collect Lenox, Hummels, Capidimonte, and she had a passion for collecting angels of any form. Above all, our angel loved spending time with family and friends.
Martha will be forever missed by her brothers: Ignatius DeGenero and Angelo DeGenero; sons: Philip (Joan), Kevin (Chris), James (Liz) and Martin; grandchildren: Jesse, Zachary, Tyler (Cassy), Ian, Joshua, Noah, Alexandra, Jessika, and Ross; great grandchildren: Alec and Aliyah; along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and a host of friends.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her late husband Philip Kyme; and siblings: Carrado DeGenero, Joseph DeGenero, Lucy Rizzo, and Rosaria Moss.
A Mass will be held June 9th, 2016, at 11:00 am, at St. Clare's church, 1947 Central Ave, Colonie, NY.
