Martha Taylor

Martha A. Taylor, 90, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at Daughters Of Sarah Nursing Center. Martha was the daughter of the late Gertrude Taylor. 

Martha was a member of the New Covenant Christian Fellowship Church in Albany for several years. She was a longtime employee for the Stratton VA Medical Center. She loved her cats and listening to music and dancing. She also loved to travel to the Caribbean. 

In addition to her mother she was predeceased by her Uncle James Sr. and his wife Ola Mae Taylor.

Martha is survived by her cousin, Larry (Belinda) Gravett, her nephew James (Stephanie) Taylor III.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, NY on Friday February 7, 2025 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. A funeral service will follow the calling hours at 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be private. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society 3 Oakland Avenue, Menands, NY 12204 in Martha's memory.
