Martin E. Bradt

Johnstown - Martin E. Bradt, 90, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, July 20, 2022. Martin is survived by his wife of 55 years, Susan J. Bradt, daughters Michelle (Steven) LeFauve and Deborah French-Osborne, granddaughter Danielle Osborne, and sister Peg Gibson. Born in Johnstown, NY he was the son of the late Pearl Swart and Robert Bradt.

Martin retired from Beech-Nut in 1991. From 2001 to 2011, he was "Shuffles" the Clown in the Zanies Clown Unit. During this time he received 11 Red Noses; one Gold Nose; Master of Fun and Laughter in 2009; the Funniest Clown in 2009; and Craftsman Clown in 2007. During his spare time, he enjoyed beekeeping, wood working, and cultivating his vegetable garden.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2022 1pm-4pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, NY 12205
