ALBANY – Martin C. Joseph, 68, departed this life on Sunday, August 18, 2013. Born on November 11, 1944 in St. Michael's, Barbados, he was the son of the late Felix and Josephine Joseph.

Martin was the oldest of two children. In 1966 he moved to New York, with family following shortly after. In 1967, he married Frances Williams in Queens.
Martin, also known to many as "P.O.P." or "Paisano", was a very loving person. He had a great sense of humor and spoke to everyone. Martin enjoyed cooking, golfing and spending time with his family. Martin was a very giving person and was well known for his cooking. He retired from Executive Cleaning where he worked for many years.

Martin leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Frances Joseph; three daughters: Veronica McNeil, Latasha and Zoricka Joseph; two sons: Nathaniel (Wise) and Lamont (Kool) Joseph; brother Scott Joseph; 33 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. A service will follow at 12:30 pm at the funeral home.
