GUILDERLAND – Martin "Marty" F. Zaloga, 63, passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at The Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
Marty was born on August 26, 1949 in Albany and was the son of the late Frank Joseph and Alice Jane (Vaillancourt) Zaloga. He retired as a printer for both the NYS Senate Print Shop and NYSUT. He enjoyed golfing, music, food, rides to Vermont, Disney World, the holidays, a good laugh, but most especially spending time with his family. He was a fan of the Chicago Bears and the NY Knicks. He will miss his beloved cats, Daniel Martin and The Dirty Cat.
Marty is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 30 years, Linda M. (Matelitz) Zaloga; his loving children, Martin F. (Kim) Zaloga Jr., Alison M. (Jeremy) Hosier and Matthew M. (Becky) Zaloga; his sister, Maryalice Keeler; his brother, Fred (Roberta) Zaloga and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Frank Zaloga.
It is at Marty's request that there be no service. He would like relatives and friends to remember him when he was at his best, having fun and entertaining people.
