LATHAM – Martin J. Novak, 91, of Latham, passed ahead of us into eternity on Tuesday May 27, 2008 at his residence. He is our most beloved husband, dear father, stepfather, grandfather, great grandfather and brother. Martin was born in Valatie and served in the US Navy during WWII.
Martin was employed with Huyck Felt Company in Rensselaer for 42 years. He was a former scoutmaster and former commander of VFW Post 8692.
He is survived by his beloved wife Clairemarie Hochkamp Novak; his children Barbara Ann Peterson, John M. Novak, Nannette Furnia and Hans Dieter Hochkamp. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday morning at 10:00 at Our Lady of Assumption Church, Latham. There will be no calling hours. Entombment will be in Memorys Garden. To leave a special message for the family online, visit NewcomerFamily.com
