Martin N. Burton, Sr.

Martin N. Burton, Sr., 58, of Saratoga Springs, NY, passed away March 2, 2016 peacefully at Saratoga Hospital.
He was born in Corinth, and received an Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice from SCCC. He had a huge heart and passion for helping others. He spent several years of his career as a House Counselor at Living Resources. His other passion was Elvis. He had an extensive collection of memorabilia and was even an impersonator at different community venues. He appreciated the simple things in life and enjoyed the company of friends and family.
Martin is survived by his son, Marty Jr. of Galway, his daughters Jalinda (Ed) Franke of Rotterdam, Jessica Bishop of Ballston Spa, and Josita Lawrence of Glens Falls; three sisters Jordan Burton of Saratoga Springs, Doreen (Andy) Burton of Corinth, and Marnie (John) Mefford of Saint Joseph, MI. He was predeceased by his parents, Bertrand and Marjorie (Linnendoll) Burton.
Martin's family would like to thank the staff at Saratoga Hospital for the care and comfort they provided to him during this difficult time.
A private service will be held for immediate family in celebration of Martin's life.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Martin's name may be made to the American Lung Association.
