ALBANY-Marvin Shooks, 94, passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2016.
He was born in Albany, NY on April 9, 1922 to the late Ernest and Myrtle (Houck) Shooks.
Marvin was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving his country in WWII. Marvin was a member of the Polish American Citizens Center and the Zaloga Post of Albany. He retired from NYS OGS after many years of service.
He is survived by son, Russell (Kathy) Shooks; granddaughter, Amanda Shooks and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Marvin was predeceased by his wife, Helen and his brother, Paul Shooks.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 2, 2016 at 1:00pm at Albany Rural Cemetery, Menands, NY.
