SCHENECTADY, NY – Mary A. Kilinski, 83, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at Mary's Haven, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Amsterdam, NY, she was the daughter of the late Archie and Josephine Cellini, Sr. Mrs. Kilinski lived in Schenectady for most of her life. She retired from the New York State Dept. of Audit and Control. Mary was a communicant of St. Madeleine Sophie Church in Guilderland. She was also a volunteer with the American Red Cross. Mary was the beloved wife of the late Arthur R. Kilinski. She is the devoted mother of Robert A. (Carol) Kilinski of Ballston Spa, Thomas A. (Rosemarie) Kilinski of Amsterdam and James A. (Sharon) Kilinski of Saratoga Springs. Mary is the sister of Archie Cellini, Jr. of Guilderland. She is the cherished grandmother of Scott, Kristie, Marc, Eric, Peter, Michael and Lisa. Also surviving are ten loving great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Mary's family would like to thank the staff of Community Hospice of Saratoga Springs for all of their support and assistance. A very special thank you is extended to Anne and Robin and all the special "angels" who touched Mary's heart during her stay at Mary's Haven.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday morning at 10:00 a.m. at St. Madeleine Sophie Church in Guilderland. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Entombment will be in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna. Memorial contributions would be appreciated to Mary's Haven, 35 New Street, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 in memory of Mary A. Kilinski.
