VOORHEESVILLE – Mary A. Stark, 87, formerly of Voorheesville, passed away on Wednesday September 30, 2009 at Evergreen Commons in East Greenbush.
Mary was born and raised in Voorheesville and had worked on the family farm. Mary enjoyed embroidering, bingo and spending time with her friends at Marie Rose Apartments in Slingerlands and her friends at Evergreen Commons. Those who knew Mary will remember her for her bold personality and her way with words.
She was predeceased in 1976 by her husband Russell D. Stark. Mary is the mother of Paul (Teri) Stark of Delanson. George (Sherry) Stark of Voorheesville and Robert (Susan) Stark. She is the grandmother of Sarah and Russell Star and Christopher Bent.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Sunday from 6 to 8 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. Funeral services and interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to Evergreen Commons Resident Council, 1070 Luther Rd. East Greenbush, NY 12061 in memory of Mary A. Stark.
