COLONIE-Mary D. Adams, 85, of Colonie, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday May 17, 2006 at Albany Memorial Hospital. She was born in Watertown and was the daughter of the late Raymond and Alice Dillin.
Mary was a registered nurse and worked at the former Brady Hospital in Albany for many years. She had also worked with Dr.'s Pankin and Balsam before retiring 20 years ago. She was a member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church. Mary enjoyed gardening, sewing and feeding her backyard birds. Mary was predeceased in 1997 by her husband Edward A. Adams.
She is the beloved mother of Raymond (Carol) Adams of Guilderland, Lawrence J. Adams, Jeri Adams,(John Vrooman) and Judy (Joel) Fatato all of Colonie. She is the sister of Thelma Durant and Dorothy Cross. She is the cherished grandmother of Maria D'Amelia, Christopher Fatato and Samantha Adams. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She will be missed by her beloved dog, Sally.
Funeral services will be Saturday morning at 11:00 at NewComer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). A calling hour will precede the service from 10 to 11 am. Interment will be in Memorys Garden, Colonie.
