Mary Allerot

Mary Allerot, 91, of Albany, NY passed away on February 22, 2025, while residing at Teresian Home Nursing Center for the Elderly and receiving hospice care.

Born in Johnson City, Mary was the daughter of the late Robert and Mary Lauko of Binghamton, NY. For 58 years, she was the loving wife of Carlo Allerot, who passed in 2023. She was also predeceased by her sister Genevieve and brother Robert. 

Mary was a highly skilled hairdresser for McLean’s Department Store in Binghamton before working for IBM in Owego and Manhattan. 

Mary is survived by her daughter Francine Marzinsky, son-in-law Jeffrey, and granddaughters Elizabeth and Samantha, brothers Joseph, Stephen, and John, as well as several nieces, nephews, and other family members. 

Mary will be remembered for her love and support of her family and friends, strong faith, and generosity. She was greatly loved and will be deeply missed.

Funeral services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
