Mary Ann Cady

Mary Ann (Romano) Cady, 67, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Aug 23, 2012 after a brief illness, at St. Peter's Hospital with her family by her side. She was born in Albany, to the late Matthew Romano and Dorothy (Romano) Murch. She was a life time member of the Colonie Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the Village of Colonie Thunder Road Seniors. Mary Ann loved playing Bingo and spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brother Michael Romano, Sr.

Mary Ann is survived by her beloved husband Robert Cady; she is the cherished mother of Michele (Edward) Johnson and Michael (Kristin) Abate and is the adored grandmother of Allyson, Robert and Mariana. She is also survived by her brother John (Dianne) Romano and several cousins, nieces, nephews; in addition to her many close friends.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society 260 Osborne Road Loudonville, NY 12211 in Mary Ann's memory.

Funeral service for Mary Ann will be on Tuesday at 10:00 am at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Interment will follow the service at Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends for calling hours on Monday from 5 to 7 at the funeral home.
