Mary Ann Selmer

Mary Ann Selmer, 80, passed away April 12, 2023. She graduated from Coxsackie High school and Albany Medical Center school of Nursing.
Mary Ann served in the US Navy as a lieutenant for 4 years and held various nursing positions throughout the capital district, including Samaritan hospital, Memorial hospital and St. Peter's hospital.
In addition to her parents John and Mary Selmer, she was predeceased by her brother Anthony and sister Agnes Rose.
Mary Ann resided at the Eddy Heritage House in Troy for the last year, prior to that she resided at Bishop Broderick Apartments and Beltrone Living Center in Albany. She was also an active member of the First Church of Albany.
She is survived by her siblings, John (Shirley) of Clifton Park, Betty Lou Chandler of Albany, Joseph, Stephanie (Billy) and David (Kathy) all of Florida, as well as several nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Sunday April 16th from 2pm-4pm with a service to follow at 4pm, at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd, Colonie NY.
