Mary C. Hurl

PHILADELPHIA, PA – Mary C. Hurl, 89, of Philadelphia, passed away on Friday November 21, 2008 at the Inn of Community Hospice at St. Peters Hospital.
She was born in Port Jervis, NY and was the daughter of the late Guiseppe and Cormino Pucciorelli Ricciarde. A loyal and dedicated Navy wife, Mary was predeceased in 1971 by her beloved husband John W. Hurl.
She is the devoted mother of Linda Garcia of Guilderland and Kathleen (Michael) Beckner of Encinitas, CA. She is the loving grandmother of Brian and Monica Garcia and Mary Beth and Jodie Beckner. Mary is the sister of Rose Marioni of Matamoras, PA and Katherine Rybak of Port Jervis. Mary is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Monday from 4 to 7 pm at Newcomer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). The parish family of Christ the King Church will gather at 4:30 for a service of prayer and remembrance. All are welcome. The Liturgy of Christian Burial and interment will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
