Mary C. Reedy

ALBANY-Mary C. Reedy, 58, passed away on Monday, September 9, 2013 at St. Peter's Hospital. She was born in Albany, NY the daughter of the late Joseph W. and Florence E. (Barlow) Hauser, Jr. Before having children, Mary was employed by Hope House. Most recently Mary was employed by Wolberg Electric in Albany for 19 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren.
Mary is survived by her husband of 31 years, Thomas H. Reedy, Jr. of Albany; her children Joseph (Kristin Dean) Reedy, Christine (Jermaine) Carter and Jennifer (Doug Provost) Reedy, her "adopted daughter" Sonia Fisher, all of Albany; her grandchildren Mariah, Joseph Jr. "JT", Donovin, Shaun, Anthony, Evan, Thomas "TJ", Amber and Alyssa. She also leaves behind her sister Margaret (George) Hunter of Schenectady; sister-in-law Carmella Hauser of Schenectady; brother-in-law Bruce Stokes of Coxsackie; mother and father-in-law Thomas and Dora Reedy of Albany and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mary was predeceased by her sister Joann Stokes and by her brother Joseph Hauser, III.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 8 PM on Thursday, September 12, 2013 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie.
A funeral service will be held at 9:00 AM on Friday, September 13, 2013 at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie.
Contributions may be made to the American Disabled Veterans or to St. Jude Children's hospital in memory of Mary.
