Mary Cataldo

Colonie- Mary A. Cataldo, 82, of Colonie, passed away on Sunday October 22, 2006 at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center after a long illness.
She was born in Cleveland, OH and was the daughter of the late Michael and Janet DiRubbo. Mary was a resident of the Capital Region for most of her life. Mrs. Cataldo had worked at the Watervliet Arsenal during WWII. She was a talented seamstress and was employed at the Palace Theatre and various dance studios. She was a member of the Christian Women Group and the Colonie Village Senior Citizens. She was predeceased in 2001 by her husband Anthony J. Cataldo Jr.
She is the beloved mother of Tony (Marilyn) Cataldo, Maria (Frank) Blake and Michael Cataldo. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Wednesday morning at 11:00 at NewComer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). A calling hour will precede the service from 10 to 11 am at the funeral home. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery.
