Mary Domenica Cerniglia Breitenstein

In Loving Memory of

Mary (Domenica) Cerniglia Breitenstein born November 1, 1934, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2022. She was the wife of the late Richard E. Breitenstein of 49 years, daughter of the late Salvatore and Rosa Cerniglia and mother of daughter, Kathy (Joe) Lito and the late Richard J. Breitenstein.

She is also survived by her sister, Concetta (the late Robert) Grant; loving grandchildren,Tarah and Tasha Breitenstein, Joseph Lito, Jr.; great grandchildren, Gianna Stone, Gavin Wolcott and Dominick Stinzianni; several nieces, nephews and in-laws.

Mary is predeceased by her brothers, Vincent (Margaret), Armadeo (Dorothy), Frank (Phyllis), Angelo (Doris), Abele (Carmelia), Ben (Patricia) and Carl (Joanne).

Mary was a Secretary for G.E. and Jardine Insurance and had an incredible love for reading, crocheting, cooking, baking and had an amazing green thumb. Time spent on the phone with her sister is what she treasured most, as well as, spending time with family and friends.

Special thanks Michael (Mickey) Cerniglia and Nancy Mac for spending hours praying over my Mom and holding her hand. I am certain she was comforted by your warmth.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie on Wednesday March 2, 2022 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow the service at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville at 2:30 pm.
