ALBANY – Mary R. Clow, 91, of Albany passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 20, 2005, at St. Peter's Hospital, after a brief illness. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Lorenzo and Conchetta Alvaro. Mrs. Clow was an Albany resident for all of her life. Mary was the beloved wife of the late Paul J. Clow, Sr. She is the devoted mother of Jeannette (Assad) Daoud, Lawrence (Patricia) Clow, Cecelia (Harry) Malcolm, Kathleen (Al) Spadoni, Paul J. (Lauren) Clow, Jr., Susan (Nick) Emanuele and the late William and Charles Clow. She is the sister of Josephine DeJulio, Nancy Mennito, Angeline Appis, Martha Livolsi and the late Anthony Alvaro, Joseph Alvaro, Carmella Gabriel and Lorenzo Alvaro, Jr. Also surviving are twenty grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday morning at 8:00 at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.) then to Holy Cross Church at 9:00 a.m. where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice in memory of Mary R. Clow.
