With deep sorrow yet abundant love, we announce the passing of Mary Lambert Cremins, aged 68, on November 14, 2023. Mary departed peacefully at her Latham home, encircled by her family.
Mary, the beloved daughter of Denis and the late Maria Lambert, was the devoted wife of Stephen Cremins for 43 wonderful years.
Mary was a graduate of the University of Vermont with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition. She dedicated a decade to working at the Social Security Administration until the birth of her son, Andrew and the adoption of her daughter, Mariana. Embracing motherhood fully, she dedicated herself to homeschooling both children, ensuring they flourished under her care until they embarked on their college journeys.
Mary's passions extended beyond her home. Her love for skiing and spending time with her extended family were sources of immense joy and fulfillment. Additionally, her compassion led her to tutor students in the Troy school district, supporting those who were unable to attend classes.
Mary, a gifted cook, was the heart of family gatherings, especially during holidays. Her dedicated efforts in decorating and cooking not only created unforgettable moments but also fostered a sense of togetherness and warmth within her family.
Mary's life was a beautiful tapestry of relationships. She leaves behind her beloved husband, Stephen; her father, Denis; her son, Andrew Cremins; her daughter, Mariana Cremins; and her son-in-law, Mark Anjelly. Her loving presence will also be deeply missed by her siblings and their spouses: Denis Lambert (Patricia Desautels), Tracy Lambert (Ronald Roth), and Thomas Lambert (Theresa Ho); and her cherished nieces and nephews, Daniel Lambert, Matthew Lambert, Caroline Roth (Cody Rose), and Julia (Matthew) Morrissey.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 2nd, at 12:30 p.m. at the Blessed Virgin Mary of Czestochowa Church - 250 Old Maxwell Road. Latham, NY 12110.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary's memory to the Blessed Virgin Mary of Czestochowa Church (bvmc.org/giving) would be appreciated.
