COLONIE - Mary A. DeMizio, 72, passed away suddenly on July 4, 2022.
She was born in Albany on December 30, 1949 a daughter of the late Vincent and Ann (Condon) DiToro. She attended Albany schools.
In her earlier years, she was employed as a Health Aide for Teresian House. Mary loved bingo, her senior outings and being active at the Joseph E. Zaloga American Legion Post #1520.
She was predeceased by her husband, Alfred in 2007, her father in 2010, his wife Mildred in 2012; her brothers, William F. and Vincent E. ; her sister Georgianna and her husband Walter.
Mary is survived by her step-children, Michael (Marci), Kevin (Karen), Christine (Greg); step-grandchildren, Jennifer, Ryan, Nicholas and Payton; her brothers, Joseph (Anna), Daniel (Leona) and Donald and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held from 10:00am to 12:00pm with a memorial service to immediately follow at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Interment will follow at St. Agnes Cemetery in Menands. Online condolences may be expressed at www.NewComerAlbany.com
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016.
