After a long, courageous battle with Lewy Body Dementia and Alzheimer's, Mary Powers-DiSisto passed away on December 25, 2021 at Evergreen Commons in East Greenbush, NY.
Mary was born in Troy on October 16, 1951, to the late John and Marion Powers.
Survivors include her devoted husband, Thomas A DiSisto of Cohoes. Mary and Tom would have celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary next February 5th.
She is also survived by her loving daughters, Dana (Rocco) Renda of Latham and Desiree DiSisto of Cohoes, as well as, her brother, John Powers of Green Island; her sister, Barbara Powers Verdile of Green Island and her beloved grandchildren, Ava and Vittorio Renda.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Evergreen Commons, especially Sara, Mike and Lindsey for taking such wonderful care of Mary during her stay.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet on Thursday, December 30, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home at 6:30 pm.
