Mary E. Boyer

Mary E. Boyer, 84, departed this world to be with the Lord Jesus on October 29, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 17, 1928 to the late Ernest and Mary (Reilly) Haas.
Mary graduated from Albany High School in 1947. After graduation she worked for Aetna Insurance and later at various department stores. Mary enjoyed many activities with her family, including making crafts, sewing and was an avid bowler. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her sister, Catherine Lanigan, and two infant children, baby girl Boyer and Suzanne Boyer.
Mary is survived by her husband of over 64 years, Richard A. Boyer, her children, Richard B., David (Jen-Lan) and Cheryl (Mark Hood). She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and her brother, Ernest Haas.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 11:00 am at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 63 Mountain View Ave., Colonie. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens. There will be a private family viewing prior.
