Mary Elizabeth Murphy

ALBANY-Mary Elizabeth Murphy, 76, of Albany passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at St. Mary's Hospital, Troy. She was born in Albany, NY the daughter of the late Richard J. and Helen J. Cashion Murphy. Mary has resided in the Albany area for most of her life. She retired from Boyd Printing in Albany where she was employed as a receptionist. Mary was a loving generous spiritual person.
Mary is the loving mother of Elizabeth (William) Fuller of Greenfield Center, John C. Megna, Jr. of Albany, Paula Gareau of Albany and Ellen (Mike) Harker, of Colonie. She is also survived by her grandchildren Elicia Brockway, Robert LaMontain, Jr., Brian Gareau, Patrick Gareau, Christopher Gareau, Mary Elizabeth "Lizzy" Gareau, Joel Harker, Kyle Linen, Erin Murphy and Michael Murphy and by eight great grandchildren. Mary also leaves behind her brother Michael (Donna) Murphy of Schenectady, her sister in law Mary Kathleen Rice-Murphy of Texas, her son in law Richard Gareau of Albany, many nieces, nephews and wonderful extended family and loving friends.
In addition to her parents, Mary was predeceased by her brother Richard J. Murphy, Jr.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 PM on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at St. Vincent De Paul's Church, 900 Madison Ave. Albany.
Interment will be at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie
