Mary Elizabeth Smolinski

Mary Elizabeth Smolinski, 90, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2015 at Albany Memorial Hospital with her family by her side.
She was born on May 19, 1924, in Albany, NY to the late Daniel and Mary (DoNato) Mariani. Mary was one of twelve children.
Mary was retired from New York State, Department of Health.
She treasured her time at home. Mary loved to cook and she enjoyed sharing her Italian recipes with her family.
In addition to her parents Mary was predeceased by her loving husband Frank T. Smolinski, who passed away in 1990.
Mary is the loving mother of, Thomas (Natalya) Smolinski of Latham; and devoted grandmother of Michael (Paula McCormick) Smolinski of Loudonville and Angela and Brianna Smolinski of Niskayuna. She is survived by her two brothers Frank, his late wife, Mary Mariani and Michael (Connie) Mariani of Colonie.
Funeral services will be private at the request of the family.
