COLONIE – Mary H. Fahey, 95, passed away on Friday, June 15, 2007 at the Eddy Ford Nursing Home. Born in Cohoes, she was the daughter of the late John Halloran and Mary Richards. Mrs. Fahey was a resident of Colonie for over 60 years. Mary enjoyed listening to all types of music and especially loved spending time with her family. She was the beloved wife of the late Gustavus Fahey. Mary is the devoted mother of John W. (Cathleen) Fahey of Savannah, GA, Suzanne (John) Harris of Colonie, Mary Ellen (Daniel) Dedrich of Rotterdam, Barbara (Robert) Bulson of Hatboro, PA and Virginia (Ernest) Perretta of Harrisburg, PA. She is the loving sister of John (Doris) Halloran and William (Betty) Halloran. Mary is the cherished grandmother of Suzanne (Tom) Egan, Cheryl (Ron) Sellars, Brian Fahey, Victoria (Tom) Niles, Philip Harris, Beth (Dave) Hickey, Tracy (John) Bohanski, Marc (Lori) Bulson, Eric (Mika) Bulson, Tammy (Chuck) Hillman, John (Kelly) Menz and the late Stephen Bulson. Also surviving are 21 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Mary's family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at the Eddy Ford Nursing Home for all of the care given to Mary and her family during her stay.
Funeral services will be Monday morning at 11:00 at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will precede the service from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Entombment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions would be appreciated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in memory of Mary H. Fahey.
