Obituary for Mary Feldstein
ALBANY – Mary Feldstein, 91, passed into eternal rest on May 12, 2011 with her loving sons by her side. Born in New York City, she was the daughter of Jacob and Molly Udowitz.
Mary was a kind, caring, and compassionate person who always cared for others – be they strangers, friends, or family. She always had a smile and a "Hello" for everyone. Mary loved to travel with her late husband of 50 years, Bernard. She enjoyed going out and listening to music with her sons and spending time with her granddaughter, Michelle. She treasured going to her son Bob's house for sleepovers, and watching the Yankee Game. She always commented, "Victory to the Yankees!"
Mary is survived by her sons; Bob and Don (Betsy) of Guilderland, and granddaughter Michelle of Arlington, VA.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Van Rensselaer Manor for all their love and care.
Mary was a very special person. She will be very much missed.
A funeral service will be held on Monday at 12:00 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Calling hours will be from 2:00 to 5:00 pm on Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Guilderland.
A period of mourning will be observed on Monday from 7:00 to 9:00pm at the home of Don and Betsy, 2 Northgate Drive, Albany, NY 12203.
