GLENMONT – Mary Elizabeth Fish, 76, of Glenmont, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Sunday, April 17, 2022.
She was born in Albany on January 7, 1946 a daughter of the late Charles D. and Mary J. (Ferry) Rickert.
Mary was employed for over 40 years with the New York State Division of Civil Service until her retirement. In her retirement years, she became an avid supporter and frequent patron of the local performing arts and enjoyed knitting and crafts, often donating her creations to local veteran service organizations.
Mary was predeceased by her husband, Joseph "Donnie" Fish in 1993 and a brother, William Rickert this past January.
She is survived by her son, Eric (Karen) Fish; 4 grandchildren; her two sisters, Antoinette Gwinn and Sharon McGuire and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April
27, 2022 at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, 1389 Central Avenue, Colonie, NY.
