ALBANY-Mary K. Fritz, 89, of Albany passed away on Monday, April 1, 2013 at her residence. Mary was born in Regetaw, Poland, the daughter of the late John and Anna (Cymbala) Korin. She has resided in Albany for 84 years. Mary was a freelance court stenographer for over 30 years with over 15 years for the NYS Assembly.
Mary is survived by her family, Fr. Michael (Constance) Fritz of Valley Falls, Antonette Fritz of Albany and Susanna Fritz of Niskayuna. She is also survived by her grandchildren Gabriella Fritz of Albany and Christina (Jonathan) Strubel of Mechanicville.
In addition to her parents, Mary was predeceased by her husband, Andrew Fritz and by her son, Andy Fritz.
A panikhida will be served at 6:30PM on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at the Nativity of the Mother of God Russian Orthodox Church in Colonie and a funeral service at 9:00AM on Thursday at the church.
Interment will be at St. Basil's Cemetery, Watervliet.
Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of St. Peter's Hospital, Albany, NY in memory of Mary.
