WATERFORD - Mary S. Gagnon, 83, passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at her home with her loving family by her side.
Mary was born on February 8, 1941 in Cohoes and was the daughter of the late John H. and Dorothy I. (Trudeau) Conboy. She was a housekeeper for Highgate Manor Nursing Home in Troy and then went to the Eddy Village Green in Cohoes before retiring. She enjoyed taking walks, family gatherings especially picnics, singing and day trips.
Mary is survived by her loving children, Robert L. Gagnon, Mary E. (the late Michael) Jeavons, Brenda L. Gagnon, John M. Gagnon, and Richard P. (the late Nina) Gagnon; her sister, Shirley Murray; 15 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert L. Gagnon Sr.; her siblings, Edward Macey, Allan Macey, Diane Walco-Conboy, and Gigi Rosselli.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, April 15th, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 16th, at 10:30 a.m. at the Church of the Holy Trinity, 122 Vliet Blvd., Cohoes. Interment will follow the Mass in St. Mary's Cemetery in Waterford.
