Mary J. Dakin
March 21, 1924 — January 8, 2015
LOUDONVILLE – Mary J. Dakin, 90, passed away on Friday, January 9, 2015 at Ellis Hospital. Born in Poughkeepsie, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Catherine Habinowski.
Along with her parents, Mary was predeceased by her husband, Daniel A. Dakin, Deputy Assistant Superintendent of New York State Police; son Daniel Peter Dakin, VFW Squad of New York State Police, and Kathleen Bogart of New Paltz.
She is survived by daughter Denise Hill of Georgia.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
