Mary Helen Jurusik

M. Helen Jurusik, 92, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 3, 2016. Helen was born in Watervliet, NY on June 8, 1924, to William and Helen (Vuyick) Popp and is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ernest S. Jurusik; son, Gary Jurusik; sister, Marjorie Shover; brother, Bill Popp.
She is survived by her son, Geoff Jurusik; sister, Barbara Anderson; nieces, nephews and many friends.
Family and friends will gather on Friday, December 16, 2016, 7-9 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 9:00 AM Saturday, December 17, 2106, at St. Ambrose Church, 347 Old Loudon Road, Latham, NY 12110.
Interment will follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery.
She is survived by her son, Geoff Jurusik; sister, Barbara Anderson; nieces, nephews and many friends.
