Albany – Mary A. Krajewski, 85, passed away Friday September 19, 2008 at St. Peter's Hospice Inn surrounded by her loving family.
Mary was born in Cohoes the daughter of the late Francis and Mary (Fennen) Roylance and was a lifelong capital district resident. She was a bowling enthusiast mostly at Playdium and Sunset Lanes, a Met and Yankee fan, a regular at numerous bingo halls in the area and never missed a chance to tune into Jeopardy. She was also a member of the Colonie Elks Women's Auxiliary. Mary's true passion was her family, and she doted and supported her grandchildren in every way possible.
Mary is survived by her husband of more than 66 years, Thomas Krajewski, her children; Mary Ellen (Richard) Cadalso and Thomas (Michele) Krajewski, grandchildren; Cher Marie (Gregory) Basnight, Thomas Alan (Mariela) Krajewski, II, John Trevor Krajewski and David Michael Cadalso, great-grandson Thomas Alan Krajewski, III, nephews; Floyd LaGoy, Jr., who considered Mary his second mother, and Frank (Doris) Roylance and a host of other family members. She is also survived by her lifelong special friend and bingo buddy, Frances VanZandt. Mary was predeceased by her three brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be held 9:15am Monday from New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155 south of Central Ave.) then to Blessed Virgin Mary of Czestochowa National Catholic Church, Maxwell Rd., Latham where a Mass will be celebrated at 10:00am. Calling hours will be Sunday 3:00 to 6:00pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at Saratoga National Cemetery.
