SCHENECTADY – Mary L. Wilber, 84, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at Ellis Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Faulkner.
Mary, or "Mick" as she was known, was a resident of Schenectady for 45 years. She enjoyed socializing and spending time with her family. Mary also loved the ocean and visiting Maine.
Mary was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Robert B. Wilber in 2008.
She will be missed by her children Judy (Bill) Rock of Hudson Falls, Barbara Goodrich of Schenectady and Robert (Donna) Wilber, Jr. of Delanson; sister Fran; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial service will be held on Monday at 7:00 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Memorial calling hours will precede the service from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in Mary's name.
