Mary Lorraine Perone

Mary Lorraine Perone, 83, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at her home, with her family by her side. She was born in Albany to the late Raymond and Marie (Metz) Lifite. Mary enjoyed making crafts, cooking and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Mary was predeceased by her daughter, Jeanne, her sister, Leona Froehlich, her sister-in-law Pat Lifite and her beloved husband of over 64 years, William Joseph Perone, Sr. in January 2013.

Mary is survived by her children, Bill (Diane), Dave (Denise), Mary, Paul (Beverly) and Lee; her son-in-law Garry. She is also survived by her brothers William, John (Gwenn), and Raymond (Donna) Lifite.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Community Hospice of Albany County, 445 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205, in Mary's memory.

Funeral services for Mary will be Saturday at 11 am at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Calling hours will be Friday from 5 to 7 at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Colonie.
