ALBANY – Mary E. Lostritto, 89, of Albany, passed away on Friday, January 14, 2005 at St. Peter's Hospital. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Peter Damiano and James and Arlene Padula Armento. Mrs. Lostritto was an Albany resident for all of her life. Mary retired from New York State where she worked for many years. She also worked for the Board of Elections for many years. Mrs. Lostritto was an avid bingo player and enjoyed playing cards. Mary is the beloved wife of the late Dominick R. Lostritto. She is the devoted mother of Peter J. Lostritto and his wife, Brenda of Orangevale, CA, Dominic S. Lostritto of Colonie and the late Anthony P. Lostritto. She is the sister of the late James and Leonard Damiano and Nancy Armento Friello. Also surviving are many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Monday morning at 8:00 a.m. at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (RT. 155-south of Central Ave.) then to Blessed Sacrament Church at 9:00 a.m. where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Sunday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie.
