Mary Lou Chaikowski

August 29, 1950 — March 7, 2015

Guilderland- Mary Lou Chaikowski, 64, passed away Saturday March 7th, 2015 after a brief illness with her family by her side. Mary Lou is the daughter of the late Walter Chaikowski and Helen (Bernockie) Chaikowski.
Mary Lou was born in Hudson, NY where she graduated valedictorian of St. Mary's Academy. She earned a bachelor's degree at The College of Saint Rose. She worked for St. Peters Hospital for over 35 years first as a medical lab technologist and then as a laboratory system analyst. Mary Lou loved her family and friends and always took the time to make everyone and every event special.

She is survived by her life partner Ron Barnard. Mary Lou is also survived by her four siblings: John Chaikowski (Faye), Jean Levine (David), Walter Chaikowski & Mark Chaikowski. She had a special love for her niece and nephews: Celia Chaikowski, Jared Levine and Justin Levine.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday, March 11th 2015 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Albany NY. A memorial service will be held Thursday, March 12th at 10:00am also at New Comer Funeral Home.
