Mary M. Murtha, 74, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2014 at St. Peters Hospital with her family by her side.
Mary was born July 21, 1940, in Albany, NY, to the late Albert and Margaret Zirpoli.
She worked for New York State in the payroll department for many years until her retirement.
Mary is survived by her husband of over 43 years, Donald Murtha; her siblings, Beatrice, Louise, Michael, George, Linda, Gary, Nancy, David, Anne, Elaine and Robert. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at 9:00 am at All Saints Catholic Church, 16 Homestead Street, Albany.
Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Inurnment will be in the St. Agnes Cemetery (Menands) on Monday August 4, 2014 at 11:00 am.
