Mary M. Sigond

ALBANY – Mary M. Sigond, 91, passed away on Friday, November 9, 2012 at Teresian House. Born in Utica, she was the daughter of the late J. Paul and Harriet C. (Frederick) Meagher.

In addition to her parents, Mary was predeceased by her beloved husband, Louis J. Sigond. Mary is survived by her devoted children: Mary Lou (John C., Jr.) Levey, Paul L. (Kim) Sigond and Gisele M.(Jeff) Frame. She is the cherished grandmother of John C. Levey III, Mary Elizabeth Levey, Brian C. Levey and Laura C. Sigond.


A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at Mater Christi Parish, Albany. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions would be appreciated to the Parish of Mater Christi, 40 Hopewell St., Albany, NY 12208 in memory of Mary M. Sigond.
