ALBANY – Mary M. Travis, 67, passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2013 at Albany Medical Center Hospital.
Mary was born on July 2, 1945 in Port St. Joe, Florida and was the daughter of the late Walter and Mildred C. (Lockett) Coleman. She loved volunteer work and cooking. She was considered a mother and grandmother to everyone she met.
Mary is survived by her loving children, Frank, Ruth E., Anthony, and Torrence Travis and Dorene Robinson; her sisters, Anna and Tonya Durham; 11 cherished grandchildren, and two cherished great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brothers, Jerome and Eddie Durham.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon at St. John's Church of God in Christ, 94 Herkimer St., Albany, NY 12202. A calling hour will precede the service from 11 a.m. to 12 noon.
