TROY- Mary E. Middleton, 81, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, January 29, 2017. She was born in Horry County, SC on December 7, 1935 to the late Theodore Holmes, Sr. and Ethel (Corbitt) Holmes.
She leaves her three cherished children, Roderick (Lillian) Middleton, Lemonia (Halton) Evans, Lazarus (Francine) Middleton, stepdaughter, Ebony (Bert) Middleton, brother, Theodore Holmes, Jr., as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mary was predeceased by her beloved husband, Judge S. Middleton in 2009.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2017 from 8:30am-10:30am at Bethel Baptist Church, 2165 5th Ave., Troy. A Going Home Service will begin at 10:30am at the church. Interment will follow in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
