ALBANY – Mary Fusco Nati, 70, of Albany, entered eternal life peacefully in her sleep at the Community Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital on May 10, 2007. Born in Albany on June 10, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Rose (Cioppa) and Michael Fusco. She was a graduate of the former Cathedral Academy High School and the Austin School of Beauty. She was a member of St. James Church and Historic St. Mary's Church, both in Albany. Mary was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend and was known for her love of cooking, shopping and entertaining. She especially enjoyed her children and their families. She will be greatly missed. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Peter S. Nati, Sr. She is survived by her beloved children, Rose Nati of Albany, Peter (Maureen) Nati of Colonie, Diane (Lennie) Micelli of Glenmont and Suzanne (Scott) Kullman of Latham. She is the loving sister of Andrew Fusco of Florida and Michele (Michael) Sbuttoni of Albany. Also surviving are her cherished grandchildren, Daniella, Brittany, Casey, Alanna, Nati, Rachael and Jason Micelli, and Shelby and Joshua Kullman. Mary is also survived by her sister-in-law, Patricia Fusco of Niskayuna as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and special friends. The family would like to thank the nursing staff at the Hospice Inn for their gentle care, and the team at Capital District Ambulance for not just doing their job well, but for becoming caring, loving friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. at Historic St. Mary's Church on Capitol Hill. Calling hours will be Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155 – south of Central Ave).
