Mary E. Patrick

Mary Elizabeth Patrick, 77, passed away peacefully at home on January 24, 2024.

Mary was born in Albany, NY in 1946. She was the daughter of the late George and Mildred Kelly

Mary's passion was to help others and for most of her adult life worked as a private duty nurse, She loved karaoke, darts, playing pool and playing spades. Mary enjoyed spending time at the local VFWs listening to music and visiting with her VFW friends. She was almost always the life of the party and had a smile for everyone she met.

In addition to her parents, Mary was predeceased by her brothers, George and Thomas (Pat) Kelly, and her sister, Jane Ann Bailey.

Mary is survived by her husband of 34 years, William Patrick of Albany; Daughters, Denise Knights (Russell Irvine) of Seffner, FL, Donna Lee (Thomas) of Greeley, Colorado, Deborah Bates (Orvil) of Knox, NY and Kimberly Patrick (Lamar Berry) of Albany, NY; 9 Grandchildren and 9 Great-Grandchildren and her sister, Thomasine Johnson of Schenectady. She had a soft spot for her furry friends Bentley and Goldilocks, treating them like the valuable family members they are.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2024 from 11AM-1PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, NY 12205, with a memorial service to immediately follow at 1PM.
