ALBANY – Mary R. Jeoney, 30, passed away on Friday, February 29, 2008.
Mary was born on December 2, 1977 in Albany and is the daughter of George D. and Evelyn P. Glinski Jeoney II. She loved music and dancing, but first and foremost her son, Tony.
Mary is survived by her son, Anthony J. Jeoney; her parents, George D. and Evelyn Jeoney II; her paternal grandmother, Rita D. Jeoney; her brothers, George D. Jeoney III and Andrew M. (Beverly) Bashwinger; her sister, Rosemary (Frank) Pierce and one niece and three nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church, 440 Whitehall Road, Albany. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery. Calling hours will be held at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.) on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. A Trisagion service will be held Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Donations may be made to Anthony J. Jeoney's Scholarship Fund, c/o New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205.
