Mary R. Parisi

ALBANY – Mary R. Parisi, 91, of Albany, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2009. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Rocco and Vincenzina Belcastro. Mrs. Parisi lived in Albany for most of her life. Mary was the beloved wife of the late Gaetano Kelly Parisi. She is the devoted mother of Kelly Don Parisi, Terry F. Parisi, Donna Rivers, Diane Almstead and the late Robert F. Parisi. She is the cherished grandmother of Cindy, Thomas, Gina Christina, Yvette, William, Guy, Kellie, Deidre, Erica, Jessi-Lynn, April, Marcello, Greg and the late Alexander. Mary is the loving aunt of Judy Salisbury, whom she raised, and Judy's children, Michael and Shawn. Also surviving are eleven great-grandchildren. Mary will be remembered as a caring wife, mother and grandmother, who enjoyed cooking for her family every Sunday.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. at New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). A calling hour will precede the service from 11:00 to 12:00 at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions would be appreciated to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, P.O. Box 5877, Albany, NY 12205 in memory of Mary R. Parisi.
