Mary Rapazzo

ALBANY- Mary Rapazzo, 90, of Albany, passed away peacefully on Monday December 18, 2006 at Guilderland Center Nursing Home. She was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late Anthony and Catherine Puglisi Scilipote.
Mary worked for New York Telephone Company for twenty two years. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers and a communicant of St. Margaret Mary Church.
Mary was predeceased in 1996 by her beloved husband of fifty five years, Joseph Rapazzo; her sister Santa Cramer and her brother Santo Scilipote.
She is the beloved mother of Frances (Gerald) Menz of Colonie, Katherine (Gunars) Duelis of Guilderland and Joseph (Norma) Rapazzo of Feura Bush. She is the sister of Joseph ( Marjorie) Scilipote and Rose Yonkers. Cherished grandmother of Michael Bushee, Tammy Bushee, Lynn (Keith) Simmons, Scott Menz and Jeannie (Scott) Autry. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Thursday morning at 8:15 at NewComer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155- south of Central Ave) then to St. Margaret Mary Church at 9:00 where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4 to 7 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Margaret Mary Church, 1168 Western Ave., Albany NY 12203 in memory of Mary Rapazzo.
