Mary Rose Ketzer

RENSSELAER – Mary Rose (Haigh) Ketzer, 58, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, March 24, 2012, with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved daughter of the late Charles and Margaret Haigh. Rose is the devoted mother of Kimberly, Kristina and Rebecca Ketzer. She is the cherished grandmother of Jillian Roberts and the loving sister of Charlie Haigh, Peggie Moore, Betsy Haigh, Debbie Galvin, Teresa Moore, Bernie Buell and Clare Janowski; her best friend, Suzie Krchniak and a plethora of nieces, nephews and cousins. Rose's family would like to thank Dr. Matthew Ben and the staff of St. Peter's Hospital ICU and 4 Gab for all of their compassionate care.


Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist & St. Joseph's Parish, Rensselaer. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Interment will follow the Mass in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Rensselaer. Memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, 6 Greenwood Drive, East Greenbush, NY 12061 in memory of Mary Rose Ketzer.
