Mary Rosenberg

LOUDONVILLE- Mary G. Rosenberg, of Loudonville, passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2009 at Van Rensselaer Manor, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Caccamo.
Mary had worked for John G. Myers Department Store and NYS Department of Labor for many years before retiring. She was an active communicant of St. Francis de Sales Church. Mary enjoyed cooking, family gatherings, New England beaches and spending time with her family. She was predeceased in 2002 by her beloved husband Herbert S. Rosenberg.
Mary is the beloved mother of Deborah A. Cole, Eric M. (Carol) Rosenberg Sr. and Marcia J. Rosenberg. She is the sister of the late Teresa Audino, Vincent Caccamo and Margaret Kurkela. She is the loving aunt of the late Mary Pagano. She is the cherished and devoted grandmother of Shana and Jason Cole, Doug (Holly), Grace, Eric, Emily and Anna Rosenberg. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
The family wishes to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to the wonderful staff at Van Rensselaer Manor and the Community Hospice of Rensselaer County.
Funeral services will be Tuesday morning at 9:15 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie then to St. Francis de Sales Church at 10:00 where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Monday from 4 to 7 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Rensselaer County, 284 Valley View Blvd. Rensselaer, NY 12144 in memory of Mary G. Rosenberg.
