Mary L. Seyboth

Albany- Mary L. Seyboth, 89, passed away Friday, August 21, 2020 at Capital Living Nursing and Rehab Center. Mary was the daughter of the late Howard Smith and Madeline Smith. Mary was the devoted wife to the late Douglas D. Seyboth.

Mary worked at SUNY Albany. She loved the Lord, planting flowers, traveling, and baking. She loved spending time with her family and kids, and loved her dogs; Dookie, Buddy and Farley.

Mary is survived by her son, Neil Seyboth (Donna); four grandchildren: Gary (Karen) Seyboth, Valerie McCottry (Darnell), Scott Seyboth, Jerred Seyboth; step-grandchildren: Tanya (Kevin), Michael (Liz), Eric, and Crystal (Matt); great-grandchildren: Jessica Velazquez, Julia Seyboth, Justin McCottry, Logan Seyboth, Josiah McCottry, Ryan Hannay, and Aurora Seyboth.

She is also survived by her sister, Sandy Gordon (Gene); nieces, Barbara Camillaci and Wendy Smith; nephews, Weldon Smith and Kevin Gordon; and great nephews, Sam and Zach Camillaci.

She was predeceased by her husband, Douglas Seyboth; and her daughter, Cindy L. Seyboth.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, New York on Saturday August 29, 2020 from 9:00 am to 10:30 am. A funeral service will follow at 10:30 am. Interment will be held at Memory Gardens, Colonie. Gathering size, within our chapels will be based on the most current NYS occupancy requirments. Masks are required and social distancing is to be observed inside and outside of our chapels.
