ALBANY-Mary A. Skeals, 93, of Albany died on Friday, February 3, 2017 at the Teresian House with her daughter by her side.

She was born in Albany on September 7, 1923 daughter of the late Martin and Philomena (Quarentino) Rich. Mary was employed for several years as a secretary for the Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company retiring in 1975.

Mary was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Vincent R. Skeals; her daughter, Joan Harrington; her brother, Martin Rich; sister-in-law, Betty Ann Rich and her nephew, Timothy Rich.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Judith and her husband John Madison. She was the dear grandmother of Christopher Madison, Kimberly Harrington and Kellie Harrington. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren, a niece and several nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 10:00am at Christ The King Church, 20 Sumter Ave, Albany, NY 12203. Visitation will begin at 9am prior to mass at the Christ The King Church.
Interment will be held at St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Teresian House.
